Dipping solution is an alcohol product which, when mixed with edible dusting colours, makes a great edible paint for cake decorating. The alcohol evaporates quicker than water allowing you to apply more than one coat in a shorter drying time. Dipping solution is used in the picture to paint the gold base colour then black to make leopard prints as an example.
